My Learning Conference

 Kia Ora bloggers,

Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow are our conference meetings. We are going to talk to our parents about how well we are doing in school and our next steps in reading, writing and maths. Here is the link to my conference slides. If you are lucky enough and explain your slides clearly and add more info that isn't in the slides, Miss Fortes had 3 yoyo's and she would give one of them to you.

KWVL Nutrition and Word Cloud

Kia Ora blogging world,

Today my class and I were learning about nutrition and what we already know about it. Miss Fortes (my teacher) made a document that shows how much we know and how much we don't know. In the document we had to write what we know, what we want to learn, and vocabulary. We didn't really start learning about it, but we just wrote the things that we ALREADY know. After Miss Fortes made a google slides that shows our words. We went on ABCya and it took us to the word cloud, first we had to copy and paste our ideas into the word cloud. Now we press the button at the bottom and after a few seconds it brings the words you pasted in. After if you search for enough time you will find out that you can arrange the words in different ways. I made mine crazy and put them everywhere. You can also change the color and font.

By the way, KWVL stands for : Knowledge, Want to know, Vocabulary, and Learned

Thank you for supporting my blog

Cross Country

Kia Ora everyone,

Today and yesterday, the seniors did cross country at Keith Hay Park. We had to run around the whole entire circle around. Yesterday I did two laps around, and today I also ran two laps. While I was running, the up sides of my body were in horrible, horrible pain. The start of my leg at the top was in so much pain that when we went back into class, I could not even bend down to my bottom to sit on the mat! I need some feedback PLEASE! Could you tell me how to make sure my legs don't hurt when I am running?

Thankyou
Kind Regards

My intoxicating holidays!

Kia Ora blogging world,

My holidays were exhilarating! I watched so much TV, I watched a person named Householdhacker and he taught me how to make the dents go away that could be left by your bed. You can use your iron and also a towel to take that annoying dent away. I also played tennis with my little brother, instead of using a ball we used as balloon. One more thing is in the holidays when it was July 17 and my big brother turned 14. Now my dad says that my big brother in an appropriate guardian for taking care of me, and my little brother when my mum and dad have gone somewhere.

Do you know how old my big brother turned on his birthday?
Who did I watch in the holidays?
What did I use to play tennis with my little brother?
What do you use to make the dents from your bed go away.

I hope you enjoy this first blog post in Term 3!
Sincerely
Gargee
