Unusual Endangered Animals

Bula Vinaka bloggers,

Today we did a listening activity about unusual endangered animals. After we collected the information we needed, we got to choose which one we wanted to write about, and inform people about these animals so they can help take care of them. Here is my piece of writing about Tree Kangaroos.

Tree kangaroos live in Australia, specifically Queenstown. They are rain forest dwellers, and are very endangered. They look faintly smaller than normal kangaroos, and are slightly more fuzzier too. Tree kangaroos, because of their smaller appearance, seem friendlier than a normal kangaroo. The reason why these harmless animals are endangered, is because there is a lot of deforestation for building new things, and also because of hunters killing these animals.

I hope you will be more cautious of these animals and will be informed on why they are endangered.

See you later blogging world!

  1. Good Morning Gargee,

I liked how you tried to persuade us to stop killing endangered animals such as the tree kangaroo. In our class we are also learning about endangered animals including the tree kangaroo. Instead of going straight into the description you could start it with and introduction and end with a question. Well its up to you, if your happy with it then no need to change anything.

    Kind Regards
    Kanishka
